San Francisco Continues in their Refusal to Uphold the Second Amendment: Gun Control, By Any Means Necessary
Column dated 10 January 2005
San Francisco thinks that, somehow, banning handgun ownership by private citizens will lessen crime. Let's think about this for a moment. Imagine that you are a criminal. You get your weapons on the black market to avoid their being traced back to you. You hear that homeowners will no longer be allowed to own guns. Are you going to be more or less likely to break into someone's house if you knew they didn't have a gun? I think that the citizens of San Francisco ought to sue the city for violating the second amendment, but that's me.
