Chinese Newspaper Editor Killed in Beating No, this man, Wu Xianghu, was not killed by Islamic Militants for printing political cartoons of their prophet. He was killed by Chinese police. A lynch-mob of around 50 police officers, to be precise. What did he do to deserve this fate? He "accused them of charging illegal bicycle fees." Nice, huh? This is the character of the Chinese government as it is run by the Tyrants of Beijing.
"China's media have reported a string of torture and coercion cases by police. . . Local media reported widely on the beating, but have been silent on Wu's death, possibly reflecting its sensitivity. Senior traffic police officer Li Xiaoguo was sacked for his role in the incident, Xinhua state news agency reported at the time." _____________________________________________
"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."
