Militant Islam: Does Not Play Well With Others

Honestly, is Islam the most violent culture in this world? It seems like nearly half the world is inflamed because of a political cartoon. If this is how they react to a political cartoon, how would they react to something more serious? Like, for example, a U.S. court ruling that a restruant chain that requires all employees (including Muslims) to handle pig meat? (Note, I don't think this has happened yet, but I think a lawsuit along these lines is not out of the question sometime in the near future.)

For those people saying that Christianity doesn't have to put up with this kind of blasphemous treatment of their faith, think again. The difference is that when someone speaks ill of the church, or of Christ, Christians do not form violent mobs and take to the streets calling for the death of all non-Christians. We don't even do that (though many of us probably want to) when Muslims undertake unprovoked attacks on civilian populations. The trouble with Muslims is that they think people hate them because they are Muslims. This is not the case at all. And it's not really a matter of hate. Most people distrust Muslims because of the predominance of unprovoked violence in the culture. And I don't care what another non-Muslim has done to you, attacking any random non-Muslim in retaliation is an inhuman act. Here's some advice, if you want to be treated like civilized, moral beings, try acting like it for a change.

Apologies to all Muslims to whom this doesn't apply, but you guys need to be more vocal in condemning this kind of violence, because it hurts you too. In fact, this sort of behavior, in my opinion, does more to harm civilized, moral Muslims than to any other group.
