The Roberts Hearings I am hearing reports that certain Democrat senators are going to be asking Roberts tough questions. I'll bet none of these tough questions include whether or not there is a right to keep and bear arms in the Constitution. And this is one of my biggest pet peeves. The Law Lords of our Supreme Court are absolutely certain that there is a right to kill unborn children (arising out of a non-specific right to privacy) in there, but they are just not sure whether or not there is a right to keep and bear arms. It makes me sick. If you want to do something, use the link to the left to write your senators and tell them to start asking the right sorts of questions. If they aren't willing to make sure a potential Justice will uphold the Constitution, they might as well not hold hearings at all. Just flip a coin. _____________________________________________
"If you love wealth more than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, depart from us in peace. We ask not your counsel nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you. May your chains rest lightly upon you and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen."
