Authorities Claim to have Found the Murderer of Dr. Eugene Mallove
Story dated 02 June 2005
"A man serving a five-year prison sentence for larceny has been charged with felony murder in connection with the year-old killing of a science writer from New Hampshire, police said . . . Gary McAvoy, 43, was arrested Wednesday morning . . . He is accused of killing Eugene Mallove, 56, of Pembroke, N.H., during an apparent robbery at a Norwich home rented by Mallove's family. . . Married with two children, he [Mallove] was well-known in the science community as a pioneer and passionate advocate of an alternative energy source known as cold fusion."
Mallove is just one of a long list of prominent scientists who have been murdered, or otherwise mysteriously died over the past couple of years.
